So you know how it’s extremely uncool to show up somewhere wearing the same thing as someone else? Well, it’s also uncool to show up somewhere wearing almost the same thing as someone else.
And if that something is sort of like an orange sweater (unlike black, which is totally fine for multiple people to wear at the same function) and you are seated next to that person, it is . . . well . . . way more noticeable than black.
I know this from very recent experience.
P.S. Here is something else that’s uncool: People who park about an inch and a half away from your car. This happened to me yesterday. While climbing in through the passenger door of my car, I was very close to losing my religion. Seriously, what was he thinking? (I know for a fact it was a guy.) There is no one on this planet who is only 1 and a half inches wide. He knew someone would have to enter through the passenger side and that is really an awkward experience. Especially when you’re trying to do it super fast.
This has been an interesting week so far.
